Cut Flower Garden Kit
Have you ever dreamed of growing cut flowers but just don’t know where to start? Would you like to fill your home with fresh blooms all summer long? Well, we’ve got you covered! Our cut flower garden kits include everything you need for colorful, fresh flower arrangements throughout the summer.
What flowers can I expect to see?
You will receive a collection of 24 annual seedlings, including many varieties we grow in our own gardens. This year’s collection includes: zinnias, snapdragons, ageratum, celosia, scabiosa, marigold, gomphrena, dahlias, and aster. (Subject to change.)
Note- you are receiving seedlings that will not start to flower until late June/early July.
Do I need a large growing space?
Not at all! Our seedlings love a sunny spot and can be planted as a group or spread throughout existing landscaped beds. If planted as a group a 2.5’ x 4’ plot should be just fine. When choosing your spot, keep in mind that seedlings tend to be a favorite bunny treat and some of the flowers will need staking.
How do I care for my plants?
Make sure to water your newly planted seedlings regularly. The best time to water and harvest blooms is early morning or in the evening. Remember to keep cutting those flowers! This will encourage the production of new blooms. You will also receive more specific plant care instructions with your kit.
Will you come plant them for me?
Yes! We are available to plant your seedlings, prep garden beds, or help with other garden projects. Just send us a quick message so we can discuss your needs.
Our plants are available for pick up only. (We do not ship our plants.) Our first tentative Grove City, Ohio pick up days will be Friday evening 5/9 and Saturday morning 5/10 just in time for Mother’s Day!
We increased our number of kits to meet increased interest and would love it if you share this opportunity with your family and friends!
